MBACP, MA Counselling & Psychotherapy, MSc. Psychology

My role is to be alongside you in whatever has brought you to therapy, my specialisms (or areas of interest) are:

  • Pregnancy, fertility, baby loss and menopause

  • Bereavement, ageing and dying

  • Meaning making and a sense of hopelessness

  • Trauma and abuse

  • Anxiety

  • Relationships.

This is a collaborative journey of discovery that allows you to take the time and space to better understand your experiences and history.

In our sessions together, we create a space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences without judgement. Unlike approaches that solely aim to solve specific problems, psychotherapy with me is about gaining insight, with the aim of understanding yourself at a deeper level.

I draw on existential philosophy, recognising that life is difficult and that there are times in our life that we feel far away from 'what should have happened' or 'who I am'. The aim of therapy with me is to understand where the 'shoulds' have come from, and to bring you closer to who you are and how you would like to live.

Therapy is guided by you but we can explore how you navigate life's challenges, discover your inner strengths, and cultivate a greater sense of how you would like to live.
